Pure-Flo® Supreme B81 is a surface-modified bleaching adsorbent from Oil-Dri designed for edible and specialty oil purification. It reduces color bodies (including chlorophyll), soaps, and trace polar impurities to help processors meet finished-oil specifications while maintaining fast filtration rates.
Order minimum: 2 pallets (Pallet ≈ 40 × 25 kg bags).
- Pallet — 2–3: $1,649 • 4+: $1,599
Also available: 2,000 lb bulk bag (supersack) - ask for delivered pricing via contact.
Freight calculated at checkout (live LTL).
Where it fits
- Edible oils & fats: canola, soybean, sunflower, cottonseed, palm fractions, tallow - color reduction and polish prior to deodorization.
- Specialty lipids & esters: clarification of neutrals, MCTs, waxes, oleochemicals where color and trace polar pickup are required.
- Renewable fuels pretreatment: reduction of chlorophyll, soaps, and trace metals in feedstocks to improve downstream stability.
- Industrial/specialty oil purification: applications needing a fast-filtering, mildly acidic bleaching clay.
Why Supreme B81
- Effective color & chlorophyll reduction for brighter finished oils.
- Mild acidity and surface-modified activity for efficient adsorption of problem compounds.
- Fast filtration with consistent particle cut for predictable cake formation and throughput.
- Works in pressure leaf and filter press setups; compatible with common precoat/body-feed strategies.

Values are typical. Final specifications provided on TDS/COA per lot.
Use guidance
- Bench trials: begin ~0.2–1.0% w/w clay dose; optimize for color/soap reduction and ΔP.
- Monitor cake differential pressure and adjust precoat/body-feed to sustain flow.
- Handle and dispose of spent earth per SDS and local regulations.
