Shipping & Delivery Policy

Sorbents Direct supplies industrial materials in quantities ranging from individual packages to pallets, supersacks, and bulk shipments. Shipping methods, lead times, and freight requirements vary by product and order size. Our goal is to provide clear shipping costs and realistic delivery expectations before your order ships.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of order unless alternative terms have been approved in writing.
• Available payment methods may include credit/debit card, ACH, wire transfer, and other payment methods offered during checkout or invoicing.
• Approved customers may be eligible for negotiated payment terms.
• Orders requiring prepayment will not be released for fulfillment until payment has been received.

Lead Times & Availability

• Stock status and estimated lead times vary by product, quantity, and fulfillment location.
• Quoted or displayed lead times are estimates unless a delivery date has been expressly guaranteed in writing.
• Supplier availability, production schedules, carrier capacity, weather, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery timing.
• If timing is critical to your operation, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm current availability and estimated shipment timing.

Parcel & Freight Shipping

Shipping method depends on product type, quantity, weight, and destination. Smaller orders may ship by parcel carrier, while larger quantities typically ship by LTL, FTL, or other commercial freight service.

• Eligible orders may display live or calculated shipping rates at checkout.
• Pallet, supersack, truckload, expedited, and special-delivery requirements may require a custom freight quote.
• Freight charges may vary based on destination, access requirements, fuel surcharges, liftgate service, residential or limited-access delivery, and other carrier services.
• Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and identifying any special delivery requirements before shipment.

Shipping Origin & Risk of Loss

Products may ship from a Sorbents Direct fulfillment location, manufacturer, distribution partner, or other designated shipping point depending on the material and order.

• Shipping origin and applicable freight terms may vary by order and will be reflected in the applicable quote, invoice, order confirmation, or shipping documentation.
• Risk of loss transfers in accordance with the shipping terms applicable to the individual order.

Receiving Freight Shipments

Customers receiving palletized or commercial freight should inspect the shipment at delivery whenever possible.

• Check the shipment for visible damage, missing pieces, torn packaging, punctures, or other signs of freight damage before signing the delivery receipt.
• Note visible damage or shortages on the carrier's delivery receipt and take photographs when possible.
• Contact Sorbents Direct promptly if an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or materially different from the shipment documentation.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests before fulfillment begins.

• Orders that have already shipped generally cannot be canceled.
• Special-order, custom, made-to-order, repackaged, or otherwise committed material may be non-cancelable once procurement or production has begun.
• Any applicable cancellation, restocking, freight, or supplier charges will be communicated when relevant.

Returns

Because many of our products are industrial materials with handling, contamination, lot-control, and resale considerations, returns are evaluated individually.

• Do not return material without prior authorization from Sorbents Direct.
• Special-order, custom, opened, used, damaged, or otherwise non-resalable material may not be eligible for return.
• Approved returns may be subject to return freight and restocking charges.
• Nothing in this policy limits remedies applicable to goods shipped incorrectly or otherwise covered by an applicable written agreement.

Delivery Delays & Force Majeure

Sorbents Direct is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, supply interruptions, government actions, or other events affecting transportation, production, or fulfillment.
